What to Expect

Begin your adventure with a short drive from Anuradhapura to the gates of Wilpattu National Park, a wilderness famed for its unique “willus” — natural lakes that attract wildlife year-round.

On your private jeep safari, expect to encounter leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and spotted deer, as well as migratory birds, raptors, and crocodiles. Your tracker will help you interpret animal behaviors and spot hidden wildlife among the dense forests and open plains.
