🧭 Planning Your Journey
Yes. All visitors (except citizens of a few exempt countries) require an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before entering Sri Lanka.
From 15 October 2025, travelers must obtain their ETA in advance via the official portal — ETA on arrival is no longer available.

Sri Lanka is a year-round destination, but the best time depends on where you travel. For Yala and Udawalawe, the dry months (May–September) are excellent for spotting wildlife. Wilpattu and Minneriya peak at slightly different times. We’ll tailor your itinerary to match the best sightings.

The Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR). ATMs are widely available, and credit cards are accepted in most hotels and restaurants.

You can reserve your journey directly through our website or by speaking with a travel specialist. Once your itinerary is confirmed, we’ll share secure payment details.
We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and secure online payment gateways.
Yes. A deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the balance payable prior to your arrival. Details are outlined in our Booking Terms & Conditions.

✈️ On Arrival
Yes. A One’s Destination representative or chauffeur-guide will welcome you at Bandaranaike International Airport for a seamless start to your journey.
Yes. SIM cards with data are available at the airport and across the island. We can also arrange one in advance for your convenience.
English is widely spoken in hotels, restaurants, and among guides. Sinhala and Tamil are the official languages.

Sri Lanka is home to elephants, leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, and countless bird species. Sightings depend on the park, season, and a little bit of safari luck.
Yes — with some considerations. We recommend shorter safari drives for younger children, with plenty of breaks.

🧳 Practical Travel Info
Light, breathable clothing; a hat; sunscreen; insect repellent; and comfortable walking shoes. For temple visits, bring modest attire (shoulders and knees covered).
Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and personal belongings is strongly recommended.
Tipping is customary for guides, drivers, and hotel staff. While not mandatory, it’s always appreciated.
