What to Expect

Begin your day with a private morning pick-up from your Mirissa hotel. Travel inland through scenic villages and lush landscapes until you reach the Udawalawe National Park entrance around midday.

Your private afternoon safari takes you deep into the park, where elephants often gather near water sources. With the guidance of your tracker, you’ll also spot crocodiles, water buffalo, and rare birds in their natural habitat.

After the safari, relax as your driver takes you back to Mirissa. If you’d like to be dropped off at another coastal destination such as Tangalle or Hikkaduwa, this can be arranged with a cost adjustment — please let us know in advance.
