What to Expect

Your adventure begins with a private pick-up from your hotel in Dikwella. As you leave the golden beaches and travel inland, the scenery shifts from coastal charm to the dry-zone wilderness surrounding Udawalawe.

By early afternoon, you’ll arrive at Udawalawe National Park for your jeep safari — the best time to see elephants gathering near watering holes, crocodiles basking, buffalo grazing, and colorful bird species in flight. The safari is conducted in a 4x4 jeep with a professional tracker for an authentic wildlife experience.

After the safari, you’ll return comfortably to Dikwella, or if you prefer to continue onward to another destination, we can arrange drop-offs with a cost adjustment.
