What to Expect

Your journey begins with a private pick-up from your hotel in Colombo. As you leave the city behind, the scenery gradually shifts from urban landscapes to the dry-zone wilderness of southern Sri Lanka.

By midday, you’ll arrive at Udawalawe National Park for your afternoon safari — the most recommended time to see elephants gathering near waterholes, herds of buffalo grazing, and birds in flight. The safari is conducted in a 4x4 jeep with a professional tracker, ensuring an authentic wildlife encounter.

After your safari, you will return comfortably to Colombo. If you wish to be dropped off at a different location (such as Galle, Bentota, or another destination), we can arrange this with a cost adjustment.
