What to Expect

Your journey begins with a private transfer from Balapitiya, passing through changing landscapes as you make your way inland. After around 4–5 hours, you’ll reach Udawalawe National Park.

Embark on an afternoon safari — the best time to encounter herds of wild elephants, crocodiles, water buffalo, and colorful birdlife. A private jeep and knowledgeable tracker ensure an immersive experience.

After the safari, you’ll return comfortably to Balapitiya, or choose a different drop-off location (such as Galle, Hikkaduwa, or Hambantota). We can arrange this with a cost adjustment — simply contact us after booking.

  • Recommended: Pick-up 08:30–09:00 AM → safari begins 1:30–2:00 PM
  • Morning safari not available from Balapitiya
