📅 Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in Sri Lanka
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA). Our representative will welcome you and transfer you to Negombo. Check into your hotel and relax by the golden shores after your flight.
Day 2 | Dambulla & Transfer to Sigiriya
Journey inland to the Cultural Triangle. Stop at the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple, with over 150 Buddha statues and exquisite murals. Continue to Sigiriya for an overnight stay.
Day 3 | Sigiriya Rock & Minneriya Safari
Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, exploring ancient frescoes and gardens. Later, enjoy a village tour before heading on a jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, famous for wild elephant gatherings.
Day 4 | Sigiriya to Kandy
Travel from Sigiriya to Kandy. En route, stop at Nalanda Gedige, a hidden gem of ancient architecture. In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 5 | Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden in the morning. Then journey into the highlands, stopping at Ramboda Waterfall and a tea plantation to learn the art of Ceylon tea. Overnight in the colonial town of Nuwara Eliya.
Day 6 | Horton Plains Trek
Set out early for a hike in Horton Plains National Park, with its rolling grasslands, cloud forests, and the dramatic viewpoint of World’s End. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 7 | Scenic Train to Ella
Take the famous scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella. Visit the Nine Arches Bridge and relax in the laid-back hill town. Overnight stay in Ella.
Day 8 | Ella to Yala
Hike up Little Adam’s Peak in the morning for panoramic views. Then transfer south to Yala for an overnight stay near the national park.
Day 9 | Yala Safari & Transfer to Galle
Set out on a morning jeep safari in Yala National Park, home to leopards, elephants, and exotic birds. Afterwards, drive along the southern coast to Galle.
Day 10 | Galle Fort & Relaxation
Spend the day at leisure in Galle. Explore the colonial-era Galle Fort, a UNESCO site, and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. Overnight stay in Galle.
Day 11 | Whale Watching or Relaxation
Spend another day in Galle at leisure, or opt for an early morning whale watching excursion in Mirissa. Overnight in Galle.
Day 12 | Galle to Colombo
Transfer to Colombo, stopping for a mangrove boat safari on the Madu River or Bentota River. In the evening, enjoy a city tour of Colombo. Overnight stay in Colombo.
Day 13 | Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your onward flight. End of tour.
